The Department of History aims to provide students with the ability and equipment to examine the subjects of the science of history within a discipline by teaching the principles of historiography. Accordingly, it is aimed to create a curriculum content that will convey the different phases of Turkish and World history and the dynamics affecting them to the students and to keep this program up-to-date every semester. The main task of the history department is to keep the history and historiography aspects of the students strong as a result of the courses they take and to guide them to create their own world of ideas. History is the memory of a nation. Turkish history is also the main source of this memory for the Turkish nation.
